§ 1 Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Beauty Salon Glamour (hereinafter referred to as “the salon”) to its clients. By booking an appointment, the client accepts these terms.
§ 2 Booking and Appointments
(1) Appointments can be booked online via Treatwell, by telephone, or by e-mail.
(2) A booking is confirmed once the client has received written or verbal confirmation from the salon.
(3) Please arrive punctually for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the salon reserves the right to shorten or cancel the treatment without compensation.
§ 3 Cancellation and Rescheduling
(1) Cancellations or rescheduling are free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
(2) In the event of cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment, or in the event of a no-show, the salon reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100 % of the treatment price.
(3) In the event of illness or force majeure, the salon will handle the situation on an individual and goodwill basis.
§ 4 Prices and Payment
(1) All prices are stated in euros. Pursuant to the small business exemption under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged.
(2) Payment is due after the treatment has been carried out, directly at the salon.
(3) Accepted payment methods: cash, EC/Girocard, debit card, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay.
(4) Online advance payment is not required.
§ 5 Vouchers
(1) Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
(2) Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
(3) Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced unless proof of the voucher code is provided.
(4) Vouchers are transferable to third parties.
§ 6 Age Restrictions
(1) Permanent make-up treatments are only available to persons aged 18 and over.
(2) Clients aged 16 or 17 may receive certain treatments with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also be present during the appointment.
(3) The salon reserves the right to request proof of age at any time.
§ 7 Client Obligations
(1) Clients must inform the salon prior to the appointment of any allergies, skin conditions, medications, pregnancy, or other health concerns that may be relevant to the planned treatment.
(2) Clients are obliged to follow the aftercare instructions provided by the salon after each treatment.
(3) The salon shall not be liable for complications resulting from withheld health information or failure to follow aftercare instructions.
§ 8 Liability
(1) The salon is fully liable for damages resulting from intentional acts or gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health.
(2) For minor negligence, liability is limited to damages resulting from the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation). In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages.
(3) No liability is accepted for damages caused by the client themselves, including as a result of failing to follow aftercare instructions.
§ 9 No Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to § 312g Abs. 2 No. 9 BGB (German Civil Code), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Booked beauty treatments are therefore not subject to a right of withdrawal once the appointment has been confirmed.
§ 10 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
(1) These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
(2) The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is Leipzig, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
